Chapter 27

Fred and Lucy's flight had just landed and they can be seen as they both made their way out of the airport with Lucy clutching unto her suitcase as she walked briskly towards Fred who kept making some calls, it could be derived from one of his calls that he was actually speaking to someone that he'd arrived  so he should come and pick them.

   Shortly after they'd gone out of the airport, a blue sport car pulled up before them, the car's roof had been folded back so the blonde driver can be plainly seen, he was putting on a swim dark glasses with blue shade and a blue sport top.

   "Hey guys" he called cheerfully as he pulled up the car revealing his pink gum and small set of teeth.

    Fred who had been stuffing one of his hands in his pocket rolled his eyes at the sight of the car and sighed disapprovingly before hoping and settling down beside the driver seat while Lucy settled down at the backseat with her suitcase besides her.

  "You've got to unfold that roof back" Fred scowled pointing at the car's roof

  "O kay!" the blonde guy snapped his finger together as he gladly did as he was told giving way to the loud music coming from the sat nav which he rythmly moved his body to.

 "Ouch! Come on That's way too loud" Fred half yelled dipping both his forefingers into his ears

  "Oh sorry" he laughed and volume it down. removed his glasses and started the engine

 "And do you have to bring a sport car to convey me home?" Fred asked

 "Oh talking about that I couldn't help driving back to take your car cause I was busy having fun in the beach when your call came in" he said as he continued driving and Fred heaved a sigh of relief 

  "So how was Paris guy? You must have had a lot of fun" he winked at him but Fred just sighed and rested his head on the headrest

 "Ouch, as expected" he winced disappointedly and diverted his concentration on the windscreen, humming along to the low music.

All this while they'd been oblivious or forgotten about Lucy's presence with them.

 "Oh, who is that girl?" He whispered at Fred

"My sister" he replied with his head unmoved

"Oh the one you talked about?" His face brightened as he turned his head to catch glimpse of her

  "Hi" he smiled cheerfully

 "Concentrate on the driving while the introduction will be done when we get home" Fred instructed.

  The drive home was however silent with Carl humming along to the music with his speedy drive.

  Carl drove into the big compound of a tall building, swerved into the garage and pulled the car to stop while they all descended.

  "Hey let me help you with that" Carl said taking the suitcase from Lucy while she murmured "thanks" and they all headed to the elevator which led them to the penthouse.

  "Wow" Lucy mouthed surprisingly as they got in

  "You like it?" Carl beamed taking note of her expression as he stared at her

  "It's beautiful" she smiled leaving her eyes to wander round the luxurious apartment

 "Hey Lucy" Fred called at Lucy who was startled back

 "Let me show you to your room" he said and was about going in when Carl called him back

 "Hey Fred, no more introduction?"

"Oh sorry, I almost forget" he turned back rubbing his fingers through his hair

 "OK, Carl meet my one and only stubborn sister, Lucy" he said touching Lucy's shoulder who scowled at the mention of stubborn from him

   "Okay she's not stubborn" he took his word back at the sight of her expression

   "She's just troublesome" he retorted and Carl chuckled lightly

  "Okay Lucy, meet Carl my one and only flippant friend" he said pointing at Carl who shot him a glare through his blonde iris while Fred gave a light scoff and continue

  "We'll be living here together" he concluded
