Arthur got home and when he entered, he saw Ben and Anderson sitting in the sitting room, Linda is no longer with them.
"Where are you coming from?" Ben asked
"I told you I needed to clear my head" he snorted
"Oh yeah" Ben laughed
"I think my memory is also getting old as I am nowadays then"
"So, did you go alone?" Anderson asked with his palm together
"Did the number of people in the house reduced when I went out or did I told you I'll be using anybody as an hand bag?" Arthur snapped angrily with the fear of Lucy's picture in his head, he didn't actually go alone but he need not to tell the truth, he shouldn't, he must not.
"Don't mind him" Ben laughed trying to sort it out
"What he meant was that, did you go out with your friend to clear your head and you know to get this done you need either of two things" he paused raising two of his fingers
"Beer or girl" he winked and Arthur frowned
"So which of the two?" He asked
"None" Arthur snapped and stormed in while Ben just stared at him smiling mischievously.

"Mom!" Lucy screamed
"We're being followed" she cried out
"What!" Doris clamored unbelievably and she tried to get if this was true and she accelerated the speed and turn to the wrong direction which was not the way to her home, she turned in two different directions and this black car was still following her, faster as she was now.
"Oh my God, we're in trouble" she breathed out heavily and put in more speed
"What the hell is going on Mom, who are these people?" Lucy cried out
"Are "Are you asking me or what?" Doris shouted
"Yes Mom, you should know something about this, you kept me grounded at home with a warning not to go out but when I'm out, see what's happening" she rushed over her statement but Doris instead of replying screamed at Lucy
"Lucy bend down!" She shouted unexpectedly and Lucy did as she was told knowing there must be a reason but immediately she bend down she heard a gunshot and Doris winced and put in more speed, driving faster than ever before. Lucy eyes widened, so the car that was following them had tried to overcome them and she didn't even know they'd come to her sides.
She brought her head up slowly and gently to the other side, to see if those are still beside her but Doris had done a good job by overcoming them and they're already at the back. Lucy turned to Doris who has been quite for a while and what she saw made her gasp.
"Mom" she called with her eyes wide opened
"Mom, blood!" She screamed trying to touch the blood gushing out of her shoulder but she winced and pulled back.
"I'm okay Lucy" she managed to say. Doris had taken a bullet that was meant for her daughter. She'd'd told her to get down to escape the bullet that was set for her so she could take it.
"Mom" Lucy sobbed, she didn't know what to do and for the first time in her life she wished she could drive
"Mom what are we going to do?" Lucy cried and Doris for the first time realized they are only having endless fight which mean those following them refused to stop, they refused to give up and Doris is getting tired, she could feel it, she's getting more drowsy and the hand pain is increasing, the more she tried to get stronger again the more she get weaker and tired and she's really feeling drowsy but she can't let them overcome, she can't let them kill them neither will she let them kill her daughter. She tried to put in more energy but she winced at the increased pain from her shoulder and as she was only using one arm steadily now, the arm lost control and moved the wheels leftward and as drowsy as she was she could barely see the big tree before her but as she tried to get control of the brake, the car hit the big tree violently and smoke started coming out.
Few seconds later the car which had been following them halt and four people came down. One of them rushed towards Doris' car and found both of them in the car bruised and silent.
"They're dead" he whispered at one of them who seems to be their leader and the latter held unto the telecom system on his ear and said the same thing as he walked up to confirm.
"They had an accident" he said again
"We haven't confirm that but we're sure they're unconscious now"
"Okay sir" he said and finally hung up
"What to do?" The other one at his back asked holding tightly to his pistol
"Set them ablaze" he replied
