"That's not true" Lucy said shaking her head in disbelief
"It is" Fred nodded
"But how can I believe that?" Lucy half yelled
"Because I'm gonna tell you how I got to know" he paused and continued "Mrs Linda and Mom are very good friend and childhood friend which I think included Dad and his twin but the thing is that, after dad's death, she came to our house for a visit and to actually console Mom but she didn't do this without disguising herself unlike before when she'll come freely. Both she and mum were the only one in the sitting room while I was sitting somewhere behind the dinning room, unintentionally listening to them but they didn't know." He paused and breathed
"So she confessed to her?" She queried
"Not like that. According to their conversation, Mrs Linda had known they'll be going for dad's twin so she'd informed Mom beforehand. She said she'd eavesdropped them making up the plan and when she came that day? She kept saying and repeating the word 'I'm sorry' as she consoled Mom with her also sobbing"
"But why? Why did they planned to kill dad's twin? What has we got to do with them?"
"I don't really know much but all I know is that either of any reason they don't have the right to take dad's twin life not to talk of my Dad"
"So you're saying dad's murdered was an accident?"
"No?" He said firmly
"They shouldn't be after us if they'd killed Dad by accident" he scowled
"And who was that person that saved you"
"I don't know, I didn't got to see his face as he was putting on a mask"
"So what you're telling me is that Arthur's family are not our family friend?"
"No" he snorted
"They're our foes"
"And Arthur?" Lucy asked. Fred could sense some disappointment in her voice, she loves Arthur. He knows she loves Arthur but it's not just right to be with someone who had killed your Dad, it'll never be safe for her dating someone whose family is after her life, that's just like jumping into death.
"I don't know" he bite his lip
"But it's not safe for you and I'm sure you know that Lucy" he said giving her an assuring look but she wasn't saying anything. She was just staring away as if it was a dream, she was expecting someone to just kick or slap her to wake up but that's not coming right now, she really loves him even though they'd not talk for years now, she had lost her phone in the accident that happened to her and her Mom five years ago now and since then she'd not see him, to get his number again or to give him her own number. They'd completely lost contact but for all these years she'd hoped to finish with her course, go back to Paris and reunite with the person that seems to be the perfect match for her, that her heart has always been longing for.
"You should stop this Lucy" Fred's voice jerked her back to reality as he brushed the already flowing tears off her face with his thumb
"I know it's hard to take or believe this but Arthur is not thinking about you anymore" Fred said calmly, almost in a whisper
"He's a man now and already CEO of his father's company doing very well to make him proud" Fred is actually telling the truth, he had not or never leave any information unknown about Arthur's family as the murderer of his Dad who he has to deal with and expose. However searching for or about Arthur's family on the internet is not really a hard thing as the Rich and popular family owner of the famous High Fantasy tech, Fred had been following them on internet as long as he could remember and this had made him quickly and easily recognized Anderson at the boutique when he'd confronted him.
"Believe me or not, he'll always do anything to make his Dad and family proud which might include joining hands with them in their evil deed so he's not the right one for you okay?" Fred added and at this juncture Lucy busted into an uncontrollable tears and buried her face on his chest

Ben, Anderson and Arthur had just finish their dinner and as much as Arthur would like to go up and rest, Ben told him they had to talk and he definitely got no choice but to stay, over some years now, Arthur's life had been nothing but a domesticated dog that has to be controlled here and there until he was finally given the CEO position, now he doesn't have to be directed but meeting has to be held between the trio to decide on something which barely need his say except he's having an idea on which to use on what they've decided upon and which he always find a good one to come up with. Arthur's brilliance, tips, skills and excellence had promoted and expanded the family business two times before and Ben and Anderson is always happy and proud of him for this.
"You said we have something to talk about tonight?" Arthur was the one who started feeling stressed out from work and hope to get everything sorted out quickly so he could go and lay his head soon
"Yeah" Ben replied and without wasting much time, hit the nail at its head
"Arthur, you should prepare you'll be going to Paris soon" he added
"What?" he asked surprised
"Have you personally plan that again"
"No, not really" Anderson chipped in
"Your Mom is the only one managing the company there and first of all, we felt it'll be a whole load of work for her even though she'd stubbornly refused to leave it to us cause it was part of her dad's company. Then secondly, the companies here are already doing very well with your deeds but the ones at Paris are dreadfully not good enough yet so we think you'd work on that too" Anderson explained clearly and calmly and he sighed. If there's anything or character Arthur had hated from Ben, it's his act of commanding him around without giving him much to say or explaining much to him unlike Anderson but asides from that, Ben had been a great uncle or maybe he's just good.
"But you didn't tell me beforehand and you guys can just go and manage. It doesn't just have to be me" he complained emptily knowing innerly that that can't help, the plan has been made already, especially with Uncle Ben so he doesn't have a choice but to go.
"Don't worry we'll be coming with you" Ben replied
"What? Again? Don't worry you can just stay here while I go" he tried to wave the idea off but Anderson chipped in almost scoffing
"You just invited us to" he said
"Hell! No I didn't" he tried to argue but Ben waved him off, he's nothing but all seriousness when it cones to business meetings like this
"Either you like it or not, we're coming with you" he said
"Hell! Fuck it! Damn it!" Arthur's said to himself
"And who will stay here?" He asked quite happy to find a reason to not make them go with him and separate himself from them rather.
"It doesn't seem as if we don't have managers" Anderson replied taking a glass of water to his mouth
"This is really fucked up!" Arthur muttered to himself with his fist clenched together
