Linda was outside in the compound, by the pool with Arthur. It was night and dark already but there are some standing dim light that illuminate the environment.
"You should be careful with your research on Lucy Arthur, your Dad or uncle must not know about this" Linda replied Arthur as they sat on the bench beside the pool
"But why do you always want me to keep this a secret from Dad and uncle? I thought you said they are our family friends so are we not supposed to be more closer, visit each other, dine together and always be together? Are we not Mom?"
Linda paused and swallowed the lumps in her throat, "it's true Arthur, that's true. Doris and I are not just friends. We're like sisters. We grew up together, in this house" she said, nudging at the mansion behind them
"Really?" Arthur asked looking surprised
"You never told me that"
"I'm sorry Arthur. But that's not just the only thing I haven't tell..."
"Arthur" Anderson's voice came from behind them
"Dad" Arthur called
"This is where you are, thought you'll be in your room already"
"No, not yet. Just having some time with Mom for now"
"Oh I see" he nodded
"I wanted to see her too though..."
"Okay no problem, I'll just leave to complete some things I have to before going to bed. Mom you can come to my room when you're through right?" He asked and Linda nodded slightly
"Thanks son" Anderson whispered at him as he stood up and was leaving.
"It's okay Dad" he gave an heartwarming and pleasant smile before leaving. Arthur might not have live with both of his parents together for long but with the little experience he'd had seeing them together, he could understand things were not really smooth in their relationship and he's not happy with this. All he want is for them to be happy together and the relationship issues to be sorted out. He'd talked to Anderson about this and when he asked him of the reason behind it, he couldn't give a definite answer but from his observation, he knew her Dad loves her Mom.
"Hum..hm" Anderson cleared his throat timidly before sitting beside Linda who was not giving him attention
"Hey dear"
"What do you have to say?" Linda asked rudely
"I'm sorry if I seems to be disturbing you..."
"Which you are" she snapped and shifted away from him once again
"Just tell me whatever you want and let me go"
"I knew this!" He said unexpectedly
"I knew you don't like me, I knew you hate me but I wish I'd realized this before we get married"
"And when you did realize, what did you do? kill innocent people stupidly for it?" Linda questioned furiously and stood up, her eyes are full of anger and she's getting out of control immediately
"What!" Anderson exclaimed, his eyes full of surprises
"Oh really, you think I don't know? Of course I did, I knew about all your atrocities you callous bitch and why the hell do you think I wouldn't hate you after all what you did. You're a murderer!" She thundered and stormed out of his sight, into the house.
"Linda! Linda! Linda wait!" Anderson called walking up to her but she doesn't answer and she was moving faster till she entered and Anderson followed.
They met Mr Ben sitting comfortably in the living room but Linda was too angry to look at him twice as she continued with his pace inside. Suddenly, she was stopped by two of the guards who were by the stairs leading up to the room.
She squeezed her face, glaring at the two guards who were busy occupying the way up, instantly, she started hearing claps from behind her in the living room and she turned to see Mr Ben clapping and laughing scornfully as he stood up from the couch he was sitting.
"Nice one Linda" he grinned at her and the guards successfully made their effort of pushing her forward. Anderson had entered and he looked scared and was breathing heavily as he stood a few distance from the door.
"You surprised me you know?" Ben continued
"Knowing about all our deeds" he said this slowly and sarcastically and Linda's gaze met with Anderson who though looked surprise, just avoided her eyes and swallowed the lumps in his throat fearfully.
"Don't be surprise dear, I always got my eye on him" he said nudging at Anderson who still couldn't move.
"But since you've know what you're not supposed to know, then I think you should have what you're not supposed to have" he said wickedly again as he
dipped his hand into his trouser and brought out a pistol.

Fred and Carl had successfully gained entrance into the compound quietly as they shot any nearby guards a silent pistol filled with sleeping injections. They tiptoed silently and ghostly till they were by the door and the entrance into the house.

Mr Ben was about pulling the trigger when Anderson finally voiced out
"no no no, you can't do that" he said walking to Linda's side to face Ben.
Ben slightly dropped the gun and faced Anderson
"what?" He queried and squeezed his face
"Don't tell me you're finally falling for this lady"
"I...I.." He stuttered and swallowed up again
"You just don't have to do that, not for anything. She didn't offend you did she?"
"Oh did she?" His face lit up in realization and he chuckled scornfully
"Oh Human! Human!!"
"You think enemies had to point a gun on your forehead before you try to kill them? Listen up, this is what I've been trying to let you know in business..."
"I don't know" Anderson cut in boldly
"And I don't want to know" he took a step near Linda again, probably to get hold of her hand but Linda evade it.
"Really?" Ben's face lit up again and he scowled and brought up his gun again
"You just tell me you're falling for her" he asked again with the gun halfway up
"And what's bad in falling for my wife" he snapped back and Ben scowled more and shook his head
"Because you're never going to see her again henceforth" he said and pulled the trigger at Linda. But Anderson was the one who fell down.
Linda moved back and screamed, she instantly covered her mouth with her palms as she stared at Anderson on the floor.
He'd took the shot for her!!!
