Chapter 30

 Lucy can be seen enjoying the fun in the amusement park with both Iris and Carl, they'd come out to catch some fun for the summer holiday with Fred half dragged and half forced to follow them even though after their successful deed. He'd refused to join them but just sat a few distance away from them on one of the chair under a shady canopy with his dark sunglasses on and the dark overcoat he was putting on coupled with the dark jean trouser and his dark hair color, seems he's obsessed with dark colours but despite the coldness on his face and the glasses on, he still looked as cutesy as ever which made some of the girls around, can't help but stare or steal few glances at him.

  "Hey there, cold man" Lucy said under her breath jogging up to catch up with him

 "You've successfully satisfy yourself right?" She asked sitting at the chair opposite Fred

 "Listen Lucy, this idea is fucking crazy and if its not because you're the one who brought this up we wouldn't be doing this" he protested 

 "Oh really, but it's not bad to do crazy things at time" she grinned a broad smile at him

 "I don't know why you've choose to become as flippant as Carl nowadays" he muttered under his breath

 "And I don't know why you've refused to let me take up any job after my graduation"

 "Oh that" he winced removing his glasses

 "Tell me, is that why you are doing all this?" He asked and Lucy shrugged

 "Well, I don't know but you can't expect to be happy sitting down at home everyday while I can go out and work, at least do something with my brain"

 "Listen Lucy" Fred frown, his face falling in disappointment

 "This is all for your safety and it's just for the mean time, everything will soon be over"

  "That's exactly what I don't understand" Lucy flared up, getting her voice loud absentmindedly

  "I mean what the hell are you keeping from, do you have any secret from your sister?" She asked pointing at herself and Fred's worried face is starting to turn into frown as he tried touching Lucy's hand to keep her down and stop her from creating more scenario as she'd already start creating one with most of the ladies who'd been glancing had now started staring confused and gossiping at each other.

 "Lucy, you need to..." Fred was just on the verge of completing his words when out of nowhere Carl approached them following Iris and he sighed in relief. This is going to be more easy with them to calm her down. He stood up and ventured out why Iris who can easily do in that moment, calmed Lucy down and wiped her tears as some had already started forming in her eyes and finding their way down her cheek.

 "It's okay Lucy, let's go home and get this sorted not in this public place" Iris said softly patting her back as Carl just watch them with a confused look before leading them away to the car.

 Lucy had locked herself up since they'd returned from the park and ever since then till the next evening she refused to open up even when iris pleaded with her to do so, so she could at least come out to take her meals. Not long after that, Fred came back and Iris instantly fed him with the news. Immediately he heard this, he paced up to her room and getting there, he called Lucy name repeatedly but she didn't answer.

  "Hey Lucy, open this damn door" he shouted but there was no reply

  "You need to open this door if you don't want me to, so get this fucking door opened now!" He commanded in his high voice as he clenched his fist together, banging on the door with his left hand 

   "Listen Lucy,, don't make me repeat myself again do open the door calmly now" he said in a bit calm voice

  "Just go!" Lucy's voice came from inside in a high pitched tone

 "You want me to go?" He asked in an uncertain voice

 "I don't want to see you anymore so just go, I can't trust you again" she screamed out

 "Oh come on Lucy" he sighed

"OK I'm sorry, you know what? Just get the door opened first"

  "I'm not, so you just go" she commanded

 "Oh really? You think I'll just go and leave you to starve yourself to death in that room?" He asked but there was no reply

 "Okay fine, I'll leave" he said in a final tone just as if he'd gone but he stood there staring at the door for some minutes as if expecting a magic to get it opened and seeing its of no use, he let his head down in a lost hope when the door jerked opened and Lucy stood by the door.

 "Thought you said you wanna leave" she said in a coarse voice with her pale face staring blankly at Fred

  He sighed a laugh and reply "and you know I wouldn't so you should stop being like this Lucy and why the hell do you have to lock yourself up?" He asked in a berated manner

 "But you know I can still go in back there and lock myself up right?" She said pointing inside

 "Fuck!" He muttered under his breath

"You shouldn't Lucy"

 "Then let me know what is going on, tell me! I need an explanation to all these." "why I'm being protected or not safe, why I shouldn't go back to Paris yet, why I shouldn't even try make contact with Arthur. Why?" She screamed out

  So in the next update, we'll be having some secrets revealed... Who killed Fred's and Lucy's Dad, how did the seven years old innocent lad get to witness the cruel murder of his Dad and some other crazy revelations😵😁. So, till then,😚😘
