It was already morning the next day, Lucy half opened her eyes as the ray of sunlight smile on her face, she shut it back again smiling at the warmth it was rendering her face. Just then she started hearing a soft snores atop her head and the way her supposed pillow is beating, then she realized she'd coiled herself, resting her head on her brother's chest. She pulled up to see him and realized her eyes were still closed, sleeping.
"Still sleeping by this time?" She murmured as she looked down the passage to find a cleaner doing her work down there which means she must have pass by them
"Finally awake" Fred said raising his head from the wall he'd rested it
"What?" She asked
"You slept like a fish throughout" he smirked
"What?, I woke up before you" she denied
"Really?" Fred asked and she nodded
"Then have you see the Doctor today?"
"Doc...?" Her voice trailed off and she asked
"Has the Doctor come here?" She asked statued with her doll eyes opened wide
"Then, that proves you're lying" he smirked and sat up
"But seriously has the doctor come and did he say anything concerning mom?" She asked concerned
He laughed realizing she'd just believe his lie "no he hasn't"
"You liar" Lucy punched him on his shoulder
"Oh what a great warm fist" he laughed again and quickly stood up to avert any other one coming from her
"We should go see Mom now" he said looking serious.
Just then the Doctor in charge, Doctor Dan approached them and at the same time beaming broadly as if his life depends on it
"Good morning Mr Fred" he said extending an handshake in which he simply took and replied
"Good morning Doc"
"How was your night?"
"Terrible!" Lucy murmured
"What? I hope all was well" the Doctor asked alarmed and this made Fred scoffed
"Don't mind her, all was well, just her cold"
"Oh really? I'm really sorry for that but if you don't mind, I have a friend who's ready to help"
Fred had not let him finish when he waved him off
"It's okay, we're fine just like this" he said with a certain tone
"Oh, o...okay then" the doctor stuttered with a sad expression
"Can we just see her this morning and if there's anything you have to do to make her wake up quick please do, I think I told you before that money is not the problem"
"You shouldn't worry yourself Mr Fred, we'll try all our best" he replied with his smiley face back again, it seems he's born to always smile
"If that's it then, I appreciate" he said and Doctor Dan gave him a calm light squeeze on his shoulder and left
"Do you have to reject that?" Lucy frowned at him immediately the doctor left
"Reject what"
"His friend's offer to help"
"Oh come on, you just call that help?"
"And what does that mean?"
"They say help comes from above not from those kind of people" he said with contempt
"And you think the help will just fall from above right?" Lucy argued already getting serious
"And you think those people will just pick you up and help with no secret agenda? Come on they mean business, and will you want to gain in a business or loose?"
"Oh my God! Really?" Lucy exclaimed exasperated
"Why are you so primitive? Your thinking are frighteningly odd" she rolled her eyes
"I'm sorry for that" he simply said
"Annoying! Just annoying!" She frowned more
"Can we go in now?" She asked gesturing towards Doris' ward
"Of course when you are done" he said lightly
"What?" Lucy's head snapped at him
"Sorry, I mean when you're ready" he said with a crook smile to show he was only teasing but Lucy was not smiling
"I thought your cold is already gone" he said as they walked after noticing her shivered even in his coat
"My cold is not your business" she snapped
"Oh really?" He laughed
"I don't know you can be this wild when angry"
Lucy who was about opening the door suddenly stopped and turned back swiftly making Fred almost bumping on her
"Just stop okay?" She warned with her forefinger raised
"Oh I surrender" Fred said with his two hands raised and Lucy almost scoff but she quickly control herself, turned back and entered

"It's okay now" Fred said calmly, patting Lucy who's already on the verge of tears watching Doris who's not yet awake, she prayed aloud for her to wake up as she subsequently fell on Fred's chest
"You're still having cold?" He asked feeling her temperature and she nodded
"That's bad" he winced and pulled her head up
"Will you wait here for me? I'll be back in some moments"
"Where are you going?" Lucy asked but before she could finish Fred had zoomed out

Fred was in the boutique, getting some thick coats and few clothes for change for Lucy as all their property has been demolished, he has gotten some drugs for her cold and now he needs to get some necessary clothing materials for their stay in the hospital.
Just as he was picking some pair of jeans, he sighted from the corner of his eyes, two people who were also busy shopping but something was unusual, he stopped to think over who he'd just saw, thinking that the person looked familiar then he decided to look at them very well and he could see both of them clearly.
